Time’s Arrow completed and ready for its first outing. Lots of new things here including my first live electronics patch designed for use only by the performer. The biggest challenge was how to make it sound relatively rich and intricate yet have a patch that was simple to set-up and operate.
The piece also required a type of ‘matrix’ to manage the sound files. This was in order to minimize possible timing errors or problems in performance. An interesting approach and one to be explored in subsequent pieces.
